MODA Fashion Spotlight

This fast-paced half hour runway event features a new designer every week. Some of the biggest names in virtual fashion design have appeared, including Dollyrock, SHIKI Designs, House Of Beningborough and Bliss Couture.

Hosts Harlee Lane and Nyte Vargas provide entertaining and insightful commentary as the outfits are presented on the catwalk.

The show is produced by MODA Productions, headed by Jujudoll Dancer. Jujudoll runs a modeling school called MODA Modeling School who consistently produce some of the best and hardest working models in Second Life.

August 24, 2010 – Modavia Productions, the fashion show production division of Modavia Fashion Marketing, today announced the schedule for the Modavia Fashion Week 2010 event. This week of fashion shows will feature a preview of the new Fall collections from some of SL's very best labels. Fashion Week 2010 is sponsored by LeLutka and supported by media partners Avenue Magazine, Deja Vu International Magazine and Wilder Public Relations. As in previous years the event will also be supported by Linden Lab and treet.tv.

This past weekend, I attended the Victim Show with my best friends and we all had a blast.

The ‘Victim’ show is a production of Epoque created to present its new clothing collection in a unique environment. The show runs about an hour long and features the music of Lady Gaga. It is a full on concert experience with performers wearing pieces from the collection.

I have never seen anything like this in Second Life before and encourage everyone to check it out. You can find the Victim trailer on Vimeo.com by searching Victim.
